The workflow of the silica gel rubber sorter mainly involves electrostatic separation technology, and the separation of mixed materials is realized by using the difference of triboelectricity of different kinds of plastics. ‌

Silicone rubber sorter, also known as plastic sorter, is a kind of equipment specially used to remove rubber, silica gel and other impurities from waste plastics. Its main purpose is to remove impurities and recycle waste plastics, and it is suitable for removing impurities and sorting materials such as broken materials of household appliances shells, broken materials of plastic toys and broken materials of electric vehicles. This separator separates 2-4 kinds of mixed materials by electrostatic separation system, using the difference of triboelectricity of different plastics. Its workflow roughly includes the following steps:

Feeding: firstly, the mixed materials to be treated are added into the equipment through the feeding device. ‌
Heating and drying: the materials are treated by a heating and drying device to ensure that the moisture and impurities of the materials are effectively removed. ‌
Conveying and stirring: the materials are evenly conveyed and stirred in the conveying and stirring device, so as to better carry out the subsequent separation process. ‌
Electrostatic separation: materials are separated by electrostatic separation system, using the electrical differences between different plastics. This is the core step in the whole workflow, and the different components in the mixed materials are separated by electrostatic action. ‌
Metering output: the separated materials are quantitatively output through the metering output device to ensure that the output materials meet the predetermined standards. ‌
Dust removal and control: the dust removal device is used to remove the dust generated in the separation process, while the control system monitors and controls the whole workflow to ensure the stability and efficiency of the separation process. ‌
The structure of electrostatic separator is mainly composed of feeding device, heating and drying device, conveying and stirring device, metering and output device, electrostatic separation system, dust removal device and control system.
